By Mendelson Tiu | Tuesday | 23/06/2009

An all-singing, all-dancing navigation system that sells for only $249 has been announced by Kogan Technologies. And when not being used as a GPS system, it can be used as a music and video player.

The Kogan EVINAVG3 features a large 4.3" screen that displays 3D icons for landmarks and points of interest, is packed with a host of new features not usually associated with GPS products, and comes with media player capabilities to allow for MP3's, movies, photos and eBooks to be uploaded and accessed through the device. The unit also comes with Bluetooth, allowing users to perform hands-free calls.

Ruslan Kogan said that the lowering costs of product design allowed him to provide a great product at the value for money price point customers have come to expect.

"We always look to pass the cost savings we can achieve on to our customers, so when design costs are lowered we are able to produce even more stylish products, whilst retaining extremely competitive price points. The EVINAVG3 GPS is a great example of the value that Kogan offers - it looks classy, is packed with features, and yet is still one of the cheapest on the market."

Specifications of the Kogan EVINAVG3 GPS are as follows:
