See You At The Movies With Google

By | Thursday | 27/03/2008

Google Australia has announced a movie search feature called movie onebox that enables users to quickly and easily find movie show times in their local area at the click of a mouse.

Additionally, Google provides a link to Google Maps for each cinema so that users can easily print directions to and from your cinema of choice.

The Google movie onebox allows you to see additional information such as movie critics' reviews for movies, and uses ratings from across the internet to create an aggregate star rating. If users don't know what movie they want to see, they can just type "movies" and the city name (or post code) to find the local movies playing in their local area.
