According to the company, the Z5500 will come in 3 sizes (40, 46, and 52-inch) and will hit stores next month.
This 200Hz TV claims to use Sony's new Bravia Engine 3, can play movies at 24 frames per second, and supports Bravia Sync and can be connected to a home network with its DLNA feature. It will also come with four HDMI inputs, PC, component, composite and S-video inputs, and will have an Ambient Light Sensor that automatically adjusts the brightness of the picture in accordance with the ambient light.
The Z5500 will also have an Energy Saving Switch that lets you shut off the TV's power, cutting standby mode power consumption to less than 0.0001W.
