ASUS Expands Esports Push With Team Vitality Mouse Pad Co-Designed By Pro Players
ASUS Republic of Gamers (ROG) has unveiled its first control-focused esports mouse pad, the ROG Hone Control Ace L Vitality Edition, as part of a broader expansion of its competitive gaming portfolio at Computex 2026 in Taipei.
Developed in partnership with leading esports organisation Team Vitality, the striking bright yellow mouse pad has been co-designed and tested by professional Counter-Strike 2 and VALORANT players, with ASUS targeting serious FPS gamers seeking greater precision and consistency.
Unlike speed-focused gaming surfaces, the Hone Control Ace L features a high-friction cloth surface designed to improve stopping power for flick shots, aim corrections and controlled mouse movements.
ASUS says the pad also delivers consistent X-Y tracking across the entire surface for predictable performance during competitive play.

The mouse pad incorporates a 4mm high-density polyurethane memory foam base to reduce movement vibration and improve comfort during long gaming sessions.
ASUS has also adopted stitch-less curved edges aimed at reducing wrist and forearm friction.
Measuring 490mm by 420mm, the pad offers ample space for low and high DPI players, while a water-resistant coating helps protect against spills. The design features Team Vitality’s signature yellow branding.
The launch forms part of a wider esports strategy from ASUS. The company says future esports products will increasingly be shaped by feedback from professional players.
ASUS also introduced a new Lava Red version of its ROG Falchion Ace 75 HE magnetic keyboard (pictured below), a model already popular among professional esports players for its adjustable actuation points and Rapid Trigger technology.

The announcement follows a busy period for ASUS.
In recent weeks the company has revealed AI-focused ProArt creator PCs powered by NVIDIA’s new RTX Spark platform, the OLED-equipped ROG Xbox Ally X20 handheld, the premium ROG NUC 16 compact gaming PC, and the ROG Strix XG129C secondary touchscreen display for streamers and multi-monitor users.
Australian pricing and local availability for the ROG Hone Control Ace L Vitality Edition have yet to be announced.
