Amber Technology, the distributor of
Xantech products in Australia, said that the new Intelligent Systems Manager 4 (ISM4) is an ideal back-up to ‘eliminate the human error problem.'
This box manages the power states of the components in a home theatre system so that in the event of an un-programmed intervention (such as a visitor turning off a TV screen at the unit itself) all of the video sources will remain coordinated and fully-functional.
Xantech says that when the TV is turned on (connected to source 1), the ISM4 will sense the TV ON state, look at Sources 2-4 (A/V Receiver, Cable Box and DVD Player), and if any of them are OFF, automatically output the Source on Macros for those devices to turn them ON.
